Meet Dr. Desai
Our clinical director
Dr. Desai has 25 years Plus experience in Molecular Diagnostic arena. He started molecular lab from scratch, designing molecular lab from blue print to final report out put to clinician desktop. Dr. Desai negotiated business contracts, incorporated laboratory information system, designed technical and web work flow, validated most common molecular tests. Dr. Desai acquired CLIA certification, state approvals and made lab functional in less than 6 months.
Dr. Desai has expertise in Genomics, Molecular Diagnostics, Cytogenetics and FISH. He is well versed and in depth knowledge in Molecular Diagnostic Markets;
He has expertise and hands on experience in following Discipline:
Infectious Diseases-Women s’ Health such as HPV HR Genotyping, CT/NG and TV panels and other biomarkers for STD. Roche Cobas 4800, Luminex;
Molecular Diagnostics of Pharmacogenetics such as CYP450 genotyping OF 2C19, 2D6, 2C9 AND VKORC1, CYP 3A4 AND CYP3A5 ON VARIOUS PLATFORMS;
Therapeutics Molecular Biomarkers Testing; KRAS, N RAS, EGFR, BRAF, HLA B27, HLA markers,
Hematopathology; Jak2, bcr-abl, pml-rara, inv 16, B and T cell clonality, BMT STR Markers Clinical chemistry;Abuse of drug,and Drug Testing, Drug testing and Hormone testing by Mass Spectroscopy,

LabRite client service team assures a close working relationship between the laboratory and the medical professionals that we serve. A direct toll-free line is available to access this department, which allows client physicians to request such items as personalized reporting protocols for abnormal results, and designing customized critical values. In addition, our professional courier staff is available to transport specimens and deliver reports using the latest tracking technology to assure accurate and timely pick-ups.
